I was once a great Welsh king. When I was dying I was taken by the witches of the sacred island to preserve, but they soon decided it was fruitless to let me stay under their spells and let me die. I have been reborn again and again and I have been killed each time before I was able to grow past the age of fifteen. I don't know who it is that murders me every time, but I know that I must stay close to my knights whenever they come find me.One of the best of my knights, as well as the worst, Mab y Llyn, often comes to my aid. Born from a Frankish family he was left without any origin outside of that and so he had no decoration on his garments to signify his family. He's usually born from around the same area and comes to find me wherever I am born. Bedwyr is another of my best knights that comes to help me. They have been my friends in the past and continue to be related to me in one way or another.
