About
Mmmm, well let's see. Let's do a little RPC background sketching shall we? Ehhhem. Let's shift into character...
Ehhem. My name is Geneava. I'm about 5'6", average height for my people, well, at least thats what the records say. You see, I the last, well the last-known anyway, of my people. About a century ago, the country of Manetheren, along with many other nations, was decimated by The Great War. Though, Manetheren was not as lucky as some nations, for it fell to the hoards of the dark one. As the history books tell me, Manetheren women were not like most, they rode alongside their men into battle and were historically more, well fierce? Certainly a force to be reckoned with. But anyways, moving on. Ishandra, the Queen of Manetheren, was no different than any of the other women. She too planned to fight along side her husband, but she had two small children. King Rhiamond had to practically order her to stay in the palace to watch their children.
Rhiamond and his soldiers fought long and hard. They held their ground and they fought with everything they had. But sometimes, that isn't enough in war. And slowly, the men and women were pushed backwards, slowly retreating...it wasn't long before Ishandra realized it wouldn't be long until the war was at her doorstep. Her youngest child was a baby girl, no more than 3 months old, and her oldest child was a boy, perhaps 4 years old. Ishandra had never been one to flee anything. But her servants begged her, and her nurse, who had raised her mother's mother, and her mother and as well as her, and she suspected would be around to raise her children, threatened to tie her up and drag her out. Beaten down, Ishandra wept. She bid her husband a tearful and heartfelt goodbye. Knowing she would never see her husband again, she sorrowfully submitted to the pleas of those around her. Along with a few loyal servants, her nurse, Lilahi, and her two children. Ishandra fled from her kingdom. Some say that upon leaving the kingdom she became sick at heart. Others say that leaving her country had introduced her to a disease in the air that her immune system just could not combat. Others say that word finally reached her that her kingdom had been overrun, her people slaughtered, and kingdom in general, was in ruins. But no matter the reason, all the histories account that she became deathly ill. It was the first time in what felt like many years that they stayed in one place. The stopped at an inn, and remained there, as they desperately tried to let the Queen regain her health. Her servants and nurse fret over her for weeks, some records even say months. But no matter how much care they took of her, she soon passed away, taking her identity with her. Her children remained in her nurse's charge as well as he innkeeper, a kindly and motherly woman.
It was in the confines of that inn that I grew up. You see the people of Manetheren have always been known for their age, and how slowly they appear to age. A 40 year old woman who has Manetheren blood in their veins would appear to be about the age of 15. I am currently about 120 years old. Most would say that I am 25 years old. But there is so much more to my history. If you are intruged, then keep checking back for new journal posts. I have yet to write them.
