Twilight haunted Okinawa. The only sounds surrounding her slender frame was the muffled crunch of boots in the thick snow.

Blood. To most normal beings it is the bright, sickly substance that seeps from wounds, associated only with pain or death. To those of crimson sight, who do not really qualify as "normal beings", a gash, hole or cut in flesh can give the greatest and most sought after high. Quench the thirst. Still the hunger.
