THE STORY: Questenisa was a young girl living in the kingdom of Xarak, working as the princess' playmate. When away from the palace, she would be found tending to her pet baby dragon, visiting family, or exploring the kingdom with her best friend, Auron.
One fateful day, an evil overlord from a distant kingdom stormed into Xarak with a vicious army, taking many of its residents as captives. Among them were Quest's family and best friend.
Seeking revenge, Quest requested permission from the palace to pursue the enemy. However, the request was denied at first, for she was but a child. After much persistence, Quest was granted permission and dispatched with a small group of highly skilled warriors—all of which were equip with weaponry, food, and horses each.
Throughout her journey, the group encountered various trails which eliminated the warriors one by one until only quest was left. Fortunately, she encountered a tall wood elf named Terrowva Elliot Cloud, who offered to accompany her. Suggesting that they first locate the legendary Armour of Xarak first, he explained that its seven pieces which were scattered across the continent were their only hope of of defeating the evil overlord. Questenisa complied.
As years went by, Questenisa and Terrowva transitioned into adulthood, their relationship also undergoing further development. Saffron the dragon had also matured into her full adult size, providing protection in addition to a more efficient mode of transportation.
The unlikely party underwent great peril and encountered many evils while gathering the armour of Xarak, but eventually their quest proved fruitful and Questenisa was prepared to confront the evil overlord. The party ventured into the enemy's fortress, only to be captured and parted from one another.
Confronted by the overlord, Quest came to discover that Terrowva was evil and had carefully crafted this trap all along. Terrowva insisted that he had a change of heart a while back, but it was already too late. The trust was lost.
Questenisa managed to escape and found the captives from her village trapped in the dungeon, but the overlord attacked her soon after. With her all Questenisa fought, relying on the magical ability of the armour she wore. Ultimately, their best combined efforts weren't enough. Questenisa not only lost the long battle but was maimed, her eyes slashed out. In a fit of rage Terrowva attacked the overlord, only to be killed, impaled by his blade.
As Saffron broke free from captivity and returned to her master's side, Questenisa sent her back home for reinforcements. But all was for naught, as the overlord had foreseen this and had a plan in the making. Calling upon his army, he gathered all his wealth and captives, and had them transported to another distant location. There was nothing Quest could do to stop them. And by the time the reinforcements arrived, it was already too late. Terrowva was long since dead, Questenisa's sight was taken from her, and the Xarak captives were never to be seen again...
