All You Need to Know

My name is Nixel or Rayne or maybe Elphie. You'll never know.
I like to read, draw, sing, write, destroy, and chat with fun people
My favorite colors are black and white and I'm not a big fan of bright colors.
I have been drawing for a long time and I'm finally getting to the point where I think I'm any good. A little bit, anyway.

Oh, it's cool. I was going to message you back but I've been really busy with real life, I hadn't even had the time to make pictures of the samples or anything. (Which I've been meaning to do for a while anyways.) If you want, I could still make you a profile? I really don't mind. Like I said, I love doing it and doing it more often makes more practice for me. I could possibly do it sometime next week? I'll have all my stuff gathered up by then, I'm sure. ^^ Even if you don't give me anything in return. It's fun for me.

Oh! Well, I appreciate you telling me about the link. I might check in on it later but I doubt I'll actually post anything of myself. I don't draw as much as I would like... or what I like. But I am really curious now, can I see your style of art? I love looking at other artists work!

As for the profile coding, no worries! No password needed! All I do is make a profile on a mule account (mostly for testing, making sure it works right) and send it to whoever I'm making it with details on how to add it to the profile with a little screenshot preview of what it looks like on my computer. More often than not, resolutions change the layout of what it should be. I actually really enjoy coding, it can be relaxing if it decides to work with me. Haha.

Another thing is, I'll need you to tell me some things, like all you want on it. I can send you a basic form if you'd like? And some screenshot samples? I save all codes for every person, including myself, I've ever made.

Oh my god. Would you really give them to me? I feel bad...

hm... I could maybe make a trade? I'm... relatively well at doing coding for profiles.
I have done mine, and a few of my other friends with more simple coding.
And you don't seem to have anything "fancy" on your profile, no offense.
Maybe I could interest you in a profile coding? I don't typically make this offer.

If not, I'm not that great of artist, as you could might tell,
but perhaps I could interest you in a small freebie? My art style changes frequently
so I can't promise you it'd be similar to anything particularly. My apologies. But it can be whatever you want.

Or... maybe an item and/or gold trade of some sort? I'm not sure.

I'm not a taker, so sorry if I seem annoying with my offers. I rather have some sort of trade off.

I know exactly how you feel. ^__^ I love my art and other people's as well. I just can't get enough. It really is everything to me. So I know exactly how you feel about it too. ^__^
Haha, I told you, I'm not really sure what my weaknesses are! Anatomy, especially hands, shading, dynamic poses, character design, etc.... so many things are hard for me but then some people will tell me I'm really good at them, so I don't know. I don't think I'm good at them but... eh, I dunno.
That is so true. Being an artist is more about the journey that never ends, the challenge and improvement and self expression. I don't think it really matters what other people think, it's more for us as artists than it is for people who don't know the struggle and work and emotion that goes in to making it and then the feeling of accomplishment that comes after each piece is completed.

I've been drawing for about.... 13 years now, only 10 of which were when I was really seriously into it. The first three were just when it was a hobby. Now it's my whole life really, it's what I want to become and do for a living.
As for my strengths... I'm not really sure. I know what my weaknesses are, lol, but not my strengths.
You aren't bothering me, and you aren't a bad artist at all. You have a lot of talent. Just because it's not fully developed doesn't mean the potential isn't there. Art is just one of those things that you only ever get really good by continuing to practice. And even if you were the best artist in the world, you would still find things about your art that wouldn't be perfectly the way you wanted. That's just part of being an artist, we are all perfectionists, lol. The problem is, there's no such thing as perfect, we just have to be happy with how perfectly imperfect our art is. Flaws are just as beautiful.

Yeah, you were pretty close. ^__^
I was like that at first too, for several years. The more practice you get and the longer you keep at it the more detailed you can get. It just takes time.

lol, it's ok. I'm 20 years old. I turn 21 in October this year. I like to buy art of my characters, usually anime style but I like the more realistic, detailed anime styles the most and those are hard to find artists for that charge within my range, but that's ok because I like the more cartoony styles too. Definitely anime/manga style is my favorite though.

Well, in real life that kind of money would be about right. I would even push it to $20 for a drawing of yours. But on gaia the inflation is so high that yeah, I would put it that high.

yes, 5 or 10 million gold per art piece you do. That's what I would price it at. Even more if it's colored.

Oh yeah, you are a great artist! You should get commissions for around 5 or 10 mil at the very least.
