Well, where exactly do I begin? Most of you don't even want to read this, so it probably doesn't even matter what I write, now does it? But Im going to type it anyway, and you can either choose to read, or not to. But you better make up your mind now, before you get too far into it. Not that it'll be interesting. Well, I suppose that I should start with saying that the person sitting in front of the computer is very feminine. Not as in gay, but as in a girl. I just got tired of having a female avi, so I changed it. I haven't been very active on Gaia because I've got another account, so this is sort of a mule, though I do plan to start using it more often! I am eighteen years old, and I just graduated from high school back in June. I really have no idea what I want to do now, or when I grow up, but I will try to figure that out soon. I've always thought that being a teacher would be fun, even if they do get paid crap. I love history, as in ancient history, though there are more recent periods that interest me, so a history teacher could be a possibility. But I also love the theatre, so maybe a drama teacher? Then again, I love, I mean, absolutely love, children, so maybe something like kindergarten? Or maybe something completely outside of education? As you can tell, I really don't have a clue, but were going to backtrack a bit and get onto the theatre topic for a moment. As I said, I love theatre, it's a passion of mine. I think I would have to say that it was William Shakespeare that got me into it back in the sixth grade. I love Shakespeare. I've read almost every play, seen quite a few, have large bits of many of them memorized... Yeah, I think you get it. I've never been big on actually being on stage, though I have gotten better at it, and I do think that acting is fun, as long as I don't have to sing. Nobody wants to hear that, believe me. Moving on... I won't describe my personality to you, that seems rather pointless. If you really want to know, why don't you message me or leave a comment. I might talk to you, then again, I might not. Who knows? [: But seriously, if you want to get to know me, find a way to interact. As for interests, other than theatre... Well, they vary. I love to write, as well as read, and my inspirations usually come from what I've read, or what others around me have written, even movies. I also love to be outside, especially during the winter, but there are things I like during the summer as well, at the top of the list would be swimming. That would not be fun in the winter. But I'd have to say I prefer the cold. You can always curl up in a blanket or in front of a fire, or even put on a sweater. But when you're hot... Well, there's only so much clothing you can take off, and you will still be hot, you know? But seriously, I love to spend time outdoors, even if it's just sitting there. And even during bad weather, like rain and snow... I love the rain! Im not really a huge shopping addict... I don't love clothes; I tend to wear what is comfortable, usually. There are some things that I absolutely have to have, but I never get them. ]: Then again, does that really matter when there are people in this world who don't have clothes? Or food? That's another thing... I love food! I may be kind of picky, but in general, there are a lot of things that I eat and enjoy. I like gourmet foods, of course, but I'm fine with a PB&J sandwich too. It really depends on my mood. Hmm... Movies! Im not one of those people who goes and sees everything in theatres. Im fine waiting for it to come out on video and renting it, then I'll buy it if I really like it. But there are some movies that you just have to go see as soon as they are in the theatre. As for genres, I don't really have a favourite, though I will say that I do NOT like horror movies. I admit that I will watch them, but then I tend to regret it when I have trouble sleeping for... Months at a time. *cough* But I do like romantic comedies and thrillers, and lots of musicals, such as Rent, Moulin Rouge, West Side Story, Grease (one and two), and others. I even enjoy many Disney movies still, especially Mulan, Sleeping Beauty, Lion King, and many, many others. And, of course, movies such as Lord of the Rings are high on my list. Speaking of Lord of the Rings… I am NOT obsessed. *cough* Okay, maybe a little. But come on, they are great books and movies! And not just because of Orlando Bloom, though that tends to help a bit. I like them for more than just that one actor! Seriously. Hmm... What next? Music perhaps? I do listen to many different styles of music, though I do not like rap. I tend to listen to more country than anything, and I like it a lot. But I like bands such as Rammstein, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Senses Fail, Armor for Sleep... I think you get it. I like classical too, and rock. In general, pretty much anything but rap. As for my life in school, when that was still my life, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. I wasn't ever one of those popular people, which I thank Elbereth for every day. But I wasn't the geek who sat alone either. I had a really great group of friends, and still do! I never played any sports, but I was in JROTC. My life revolved around ROTC for two years, though I was in it for three. I became the CG (color guard) commander at the beginning of my second year and stuck with that until graduation. I was also the XO (executive officer) of a battalion of around one-hundred and fifty cadets, holding the rank of major for most of my senior year (I had been a captain at the start of the year). All in all, I like high school, except for math class (though first semester was great fun!). And there are some teachers who I will remember forever... Well, I think I've said enough for now. If there's anything I forgot to mention, or if you just didn't feel like reading this whole thing, just send me a message. Like I said, I may answer it, but I may not. [:
