Appearance: He's rather thin, and has scruffy black hair that occasionally droops over his right eye. He often wears headphones that play classical piano music in them. Ray is fairly tall, but doesn't weigh much. He is sometimes described as looking gaunt or dark. His most noticeable feature his yellow eyes, which are said to have a dead, haunted look in them. He has extremely conspicious black bags under and around his eyes, a product of his insomnia. He is only in his 20s, but most people say he looks older than that.


Early Life: Ray was an accident: his mother had been raped in an outbreak of violence in a remote area in Russia. He grew up with his mother, who became rather weak and withdrawn after his birth, which caused Ray to mature very early. He got his first paying job at age seven. He made enough money to buy him and his mother food, heat, and clothes, although he sacrificed his health to achieve this money. When he was 10, Ray got word of his father being in town, which caused his mother to go sick with fear. Ray went to his father's house, and when he was let in by his father, he stabbed him in the back with a machete he found one day. His father was found dead. A rich man caught sight of the event and was impressed with Ray's handiwork, offering a high paying job as a killer. Ray didn't want to accept the job, but he knew his mother needed the money and accepted. From there, Ray's life proceeded to get darker and bloodier.

Teens: By the time he was age 15, Ray had killed well over 1,000 people. However, his seemingly-brain dead mother worked out the truth and confronted her son. Although his heart was in the right place, Ray was sent away by his mother, although she said she could return on occasions. Ray continued to work as an assassin, killing and leaving a bloody trail behind him. He became ignorant and always calm. All evidence would point to him, but Ray made sure no one could prove him guilty. However, this got him banned from many areas. A rumor was started that if someone heard faint piano music, Ray was in the area, as they believed the music was coming from his headphones. Ray continued his work, his hands literally becoming stained with blood. His mother eventually fell into a coma when he was 19.

Current: Virtually banned from most of Europe, Ray decided to seek his chances with the Voyevoda. He was accepted into the republic, hoping that it would get everyone off his back for a bit.

Personality: Ray is very mature and calm. He is quiet and simple, often liking to keep things very easy to understand. He has a bit of a sarcastic side on occasion, and has a lot of common sense. The one exception is the morning, in which Ray is often very grumpy, due to not sleeping because of his insomnia. He shows a dislike in being called emo, and states that his dress style is more gothic. He continually states that he did not get his hands and blade dirty with his OWN blood. All in all, he seems rather apathetic and calm. He is shown never to get worked up, angered, or afraid (although anger is an exception in the morning).

However, this calm, relaxed nature occasionally fades when Ray shows his true colors. When he is on a mission or a killing spree, Ray becomes cold-hearted and ruthless, literally staining his hands with the blood of others. He often listens to loud music when he is like this, and often seems to be borderline-psychotic, although in reality he is perfectly sane. This darker side of Ray emerged after hard years in life and abuse from other people (as the wealthy often abused the poor).

He enjoys listening to music, saying that his favorite is classical piano music. He also says that he enjoys rock and jazz. When someone who thinks he's an emo asks if he likes "metal" and "scream-o", Ray responds by saying that it's too loud, and if he wanted to go deaf, he'd stand next to a jet taking off.
