Hello my name is Dr.Temperance Brennan, I was born as Joy Keenan and I'm a forensic anthropologist and I work at the Jeffersonian Institute in Washington, D.C. I work with Special Agent Seeley Booth to work on cases which require me and my team's expertise. He nicknames me "Bones", referring to my job as a forensic anthropologist. We are fairly comfortable working relationship, despite the differences in our personalities and the sexual tension evident between them. I am an atheist, I am very critical toward religion, and I believe in the death penalty. This has led to more than one argument between Booth and I, who is a devout Roman Catholic and quite defensive of his faith. I lacks social skills and I have trouble understanding jokes and sarcasm. My best friend is Angela Montenegro, she has helped me so much. I don't remember much of my parents they, I know my mother is dead and my father is an escaped convict. Unfortunately I am searching for a new assistant...my former assistant - Zach Addy is currently under heavy mental care. Recently I admitted my feelings for my partner, and he said that he loved his girlfriend Hannah. I am compartmentalizing to the best of my ability.
