I'm a gamer who makes games! When I'm not hacking away in Flash or trying to get games out to you guys, you can find me surfing, on the slopes, or playing oldschool SNES games.
I know, that's what sounds so fun about it! I've kind of always wanted to make my own game, but hell if the stuff out there isn't impossible to use. (I didn't even care when my copy of RPG Maker walked off without my knowledge. Worst $20 I ever made my mom spend.)
Maybe when I get my tablet, I could whip something up for you and you could decide? As it is, I'm on a laptop at the moment, and if there's one thing worse than trying to draw with a mouse, it's trying to draw with that little finger touchpad thing.
No real portfolios happening here...I mostly just draw for fun. None of my online galleries have been updated for forever. ^^; The only recent artwork I really have online is Avatar Art that I've drawn for people on my mule account, and that stuff was drawn with a mouse. XDD I'm nowhere near any of your colleagues in the art department, though. They all have more artistic training and talent in their little toe than I have in my whole body.
I guess I just want to contribute to your project somehow...it looks like a load of fun, but I don't really have many applicable skills when it comes to /making/ video games...just playing them once they're done.

If you're in need of help testing the game, I'd be more than willing to do so. I've never played Secret of Mana, though, so I'm not sure what the battle system you're describing is like...
A while back you said something about a card/puzzle game for Gaia... How's that coming along? Or can you not say...
Also, have you ever played Golden Sun? It was one of my favorite RPGs when I was younger. I still have the cartriges, whether or not they actually work. >w<
