I see you have found your way into the abyss which is my profile. *wave* Greetings.

My name on here is Reisa Hunter. You can call me Resi if you like.

I"m 23 years old and done my B. A and am now begining my B. Education. .I want to do a masters degree and ph.d on Romani Studies.

I love to rp. Drop me a line anytime. I play female generally in Yuri and Het. I rp with anyone who can post 1-7 paragraphs, and uses relatively decent grammar.

What you should know:

-- I like modern rps and historical rps
-- I`ve noticed the trend on Gaia for people to want to rp as a `Gypsy``. Get over yourselves and learn about the culture first please which is also. I bet 99% of you think of Esmeralda or something similar. That is not a gypsy-in fact, gypsy is a derogatory term which stems from the word Tzigane. This word means Liar. The actual poilitically correct term is Roma (Sinti for German Roma however). Why does this bother me? you wouldn't call a black eprson the N word, would you? I just believe that the Roma people have enough s**t on their hands with discrimination in Europe that we don't need to make it worse by continuing calling them by a derogatory term when there's a perfectly better one out there.

Do not come to me with a Roma character unless you know a TON about their culture. They are the focus of my post secondary studies and believe me, if you are WRONG about your interpretation of them as an ethnic group, I will be sure to tell you. I`m sick of people actually believing that the Roma are a wonderful happy bunch of people who love to travel.

Happy yes they are for the most part. Wonderful? Sure.
Loving to travel? Maybe but the reason they traveled was because they were PERSECUTED.

Did you know if they were caught first in Bohemia or Moravia an ear was chopped off to mark them as having a warning? And then if they were caught in Bohemia or Moravia again they were often killed? That their kids were sometimes taken from them? That they were whipped and tortured?

Not so happy. Not so romantic, is it?

If you made it though that, congratulations. I had to get that out there so don't say you weren't warned. More open minded and believing people are free to ask me why I had that need but otherwise, don't bother bringing me a Roma character. Ever.

Perfect characters also annoy me and so do girly men.
You can leave too.
