history :: Age 0 to 15 Grew up on Destiny Islands with his best friend, Sora, and his other friend, Kairi. Came across as serious, cool, and detached. He was actually quite curious about the world beyond the islands, and wished to explore it. He, Sora and Kairi started to build a raft in hopes to sail to another world. However, Heartless attacked the islands, and their plans went awry. They were separated. Riku seemed to have no fear of the darkness which the Heartless brought, and went into it willingly.
Age 16 Due to being half-dark, escaped the World of Darkness and appeared in the deepest basement of Castle Oblivion alone. Once battling Ansem and defeating him, Riku chose to go off on his own, leaving Sora once again in hopes to rid himself fully of Ansem, the darkness, and reclaim the rest of his heart. King Mickey offered to join him, and accompanied Riku on his journey. The two set off, traversing worlds, fighting off Heartless, and inconspicuously helping his friend, Sora.


combat abilities :: Exceptional sword fighting and keyblade weilding skills. Can also manipulate and control darkness, as well as summon heartless.
family :: Not fully known. No siblings.
