---Something is there, you know it is. It's been following you for days; hiding in the shadows, jumping from wall to wall, just folllowing. It knows you see it, but this only makes it hungrier. Hungry for the fear it knows you have, hungry for your soul. If only you could get away from it, once, it would be lost forever. But you can't. It's been there for years. Growing larger everytime you see it. The raspy whisper has gotten clearer now. You can almost understand what it's saying. Rrr. . . Rrrr. . . Is it growling? No, it would be frowning if it was. Rrr. . . raaa. . . rappp. . . Rap? It doesn't make any sense; so far. But as it grows, taller than the houses, faster than ever, it's word keeps growing. Rapt. . . Raptu. . . Suddenly you realize what it's saying, your eyes wide. Startled, you try to run away, but for the first time, it reaches off the wall. It seeps up from the ground, covering you with the shadow of darkness. It's claws reach out for you, and grip your wrist, pulling you down. As you fade through the earth beneath you to your doom, you finally hear everything it's been trying to say. "Rapture will destroy us all."---Journal
