Holidays weren't too bad here. Not as exciting as yours it seems. lol. We just went down to visit my grandparents like we always do. Ooh, digital reader. I think I'm jealous. mrgreen I want one of those but can't decide which brand. And I've never been too sure on how well you'd be able to access the stores on them to get the ebooks that way. Reception is always iffy up here in the mountains, right? xp But it is much easier to get books on them when they do work --B&N in Merced never seems to have the books I want when I look anymore. And the web always has everything. Maybe a little too much actually. I found like five more books on bn.com I wanted when I went on there earlier. lol.
Things have been okay, I guess. Neither bad nor good --hovering somewhere in the middle. lol. My sister finally got a wii for her b-day so we've been playing with that lately. It's fun. Should have gotten one a long time ago... Other than that, just vegging out on my bed and reading the books I got for x-mas. xD
I've been to Yosemite Gifts once, before we moved into the town. sweatdrop It was around Christmas, which is usually when we go into the shops in town. So, you never know, maybe I'll stop by one day and see if I can catch you. smile You never know. Though, honestly, I might experience that "Ack! Familiar person --run!"-syndrome I seem to have. mrgreen
Anyways, hope that they aren't working you too hard. And that you recovered from those long weekend hours. Lol. You still bouncing around all those games? Lol. WoW is good, never personally played it though. Just watched a few times. Yup, I think we do have bad luck with, well, everything. My dad's car, my sister's been having some problems at school, me with my crying... The list goes on. :/
Ouch. I know what it's like to not have insurance. When my mom broke her wrist, she didn't have any. And now I don't because I got kicked off my dad's plan since I'm not a student. I hope the mountain of bills quickly dissolves for you guys. Mountains are only nice when they're filled with flowers and all covered in grass... sweatdrop
Thanksgiving was s'okay, I guess. Played with my sister's new wii, ate lots of food, then ended it with tears and my compulsive cleaning. Eh... How was yours? ^^;;
I think your mom had a miracle too; and I'm glad she did. smile Too bad she can't forget your chores, though; that'd be nice. Lol. Oh, cool! Where are you working? I promise not to bother you one day. Hehe.
Hmm. As for how me and everyone here is doing ...ehh. Okay in general, I suppose. I think family might have hit a patch of bad luck, though. :/ Everyone from the great aunt who stepped on a needle and had it break off inside of her foot, to me and my anxiety, to our poor little doggie that died. crying It's been a rough couple of months.
Oh my gosh! A brain aneurysm!? That's so scary! Now I feel horrible for being off of Gaia for so long and not seeing that! crying She's doing must better now, I suppose, then? Since that was... eck... 3 months ago? I really hope she is. smile

Lol, what is it about us that we keep missing each other with our breaks? One month it's you, then it's me. Or it's both of us. Lol.
Hope the holiday crowds arent' bogging you down. smile
