Once known as Cassius Tanaka, Romulus was born into a family of segregated warriors who bore a legendary seal that possessed immense power and controlled most of the world long ago. The family has been war torn for all his life. The only family Romulus still knows is Haseo, who is five years older. Romulus and Haseo were on their own ever since they were teenagers because their family destroyed each other, the ones responsible were their father and the eldest in the family, Arisis. At the age of 23 it was decided between the two brothers that they would have to put an end to the tyranny of their father and brother, it was after this decision that he would set out on his own to train in solitude. During his travels, he met a man by the name of
Lord Hargrave, who offered him a power that out weighed his family seal. In exchange for this, Cassius Tanaka would have to give his life in order to for his spirit to mold into a more powerfully suited stable body, thus Romulus was born. Lord Hargrave taught Romulus to control the spirit of the damned. Lord Hargrave perished at the hands of someone by the name of Lucious. Following Lord Hargrave's death, he bestowed the power of his blade, Ignis upon Romulus. Enu. Also the spirit that lied within his blade, Ignis. Ignis was now entwined with Romulus' life force. Romulus used everything Hargrave taught him to track down and use Ignis to kill Lucious. By the time of Lucious' death. Romulus was now 27. He re-united with his brother to finish what they began five years ago. After the two year war, Haseo and Romulus parted ways once more. Now Romulus does mercenary work as an assassin and lurks in the shadows.
