My name is Ruth and I do stuff.Want to know what I'm like without reading all this? Then root through my journal like the internet stalker that you are. There isn't much in there but there's something.
If you're reading on then you should know that I am a science fiction nerd by trade - though I'm not fussy. I love lots of stuff. High fantasy scares me but I'll still read it. Preferably I like my stuff with laughs. And I like old stuff. Like sci fi in black and white.
And yes I call in 'sci fi' not 'sf' because 'sci fi' sounds musical.I know a lot about some movies (SOME movies) but if I choose then I choose TV because you get time to sit and watch people develop and kill each other off and get pregnant by their best friend's husband or whatever. BTW the soap reference is not a clue to my tastes I just absorb daytime TV like a sponge.
I also love my comedy. Love it like a fox.
I'm one of those annoying people who gets completely and utterly obsessed with ONE THING and talks about nothing but that ONE THING for several months and then suddenly drops that ONE THING and moves onto the next thing. I still love the other ONE THING though, it's just that I can only manage being dangerously obsessed with one of them at a time.
Two of these things are Doctor Who and Robin Hood. Old and new. All different versions. Every one I can find. Luckily they both have large fan-bases for me to swim about in.
I start blogs. I write some stuff. I forget about them. I think that makes me normal.
I have MSN on my computer just so that I can NOT go on it. It eats time and brains. The people are awesome the conversations are rubbish. They start fights.

I'm a mod on the DW Guild, I run the Robin Hood Guild and I do the odd cartoon and then people say I should do more and I think to myself 'this makes sense' and then I never draw another one again.
