yo spanish is soooo useful. you will see, when you leave home smile so are you in high school/college? i am so sorry if i forget stuff, cus somehow after experiencing so much depression in college my brain was just ravaged and my memory is terrible now. i used to be spot-on keeping track of things, now its like i confuse everything sad but yea... do you have a job?

I gotta be at school tomorrow at 8 again, then do lab work all day... ughhhhh. and tonight i was just trying to start 1x1 RP after RP with people, lol. most all of them have already signed off without telling me. i guess not responding is one form of rejection? but i don't know if they will pick it back up tomorrow. heh. do you like RP'ing? i forget what you said in the thread with 10 different answers xd I also am bummed that so many of these role-players have terrible grammar, or they ignore what you write... blah. crazy gaians.

Hehe, well it's all about the journey, right? i know theres tons of stuff i need to still fix about myself.... like really finding happiness in everyday things. its so weird, i don't know why satisfaction and happiness have to be so elusive to me sad i mean, i have everything i could want! sigh.... its a conscious effort... and i should really try to be more social at school.............

oh my goodness, guess you're in for a long wait then! yeah hahaha i really hate waiting too sooo i love buying those DoA dolls and waiting about 1 week for them. Lol...my favorite right now is my foxy model!!! XD but my first doll Senna was always my biggest love. I named her Senaviretna, which is really similar to Sarangeti... it bothers me because they are completely different girls lol. xp

yeah i saw those discs on luts too!! but what on earth are they supposed to fit? only Luts? i can imagine that sticking anything like that in a joint would have to have a very custom size... to get the angulation and diameter right confused for now i am just coping with the posing i got. but yeah thanks, wiring is a great suggestion for down the line biggrin

fluid spanish, you are so lucky!! bilingual people are amazing. theres tons of spanish speakers everywhere, and especially as I'm going to be a dentist its important to be able to communicate to everyone. I know it makes you a great candidate for more jobs smile And i did take 4 years of Hawaiian language in high school, but you are right that no one speaks it anymore. It is an official language of the state, so you could write documents in it lol but its not very practical, just cool to know. i forget a lot already though.
I'm half chinese but my mom is white... and I'm pretty overall white/american. i think people don't know what to think of me lol, some friends in college assumed i was 100% hawaiian stare then i would be dark and polynesian, duh! i don't have the local hawaii pidgin accent either, cus my mom spoke very regular english. anyway, as long as "speaking white" puts you at an advantage in life that is a good thing.... i know it can be good or bad though. sometimes i feel like an outsider at home when everyone speaks broken hawaii english and i can only speak regular. xd

smile Actually, we met in dental school! which is pretty much like med school, so sorta like college but we've already finished college. I think thats been monumental to my life, cus after dating 3 different guys in college i learned a heck of a lot about myself and there were things i needed to change, like selfishness and high expectations and being willing to sacrifice enough to make it work out. He dated a girl too in college, that he was committed to marrying, but she was baaad for him - she treated him terribly with verbal abuse - and he was too loyal to ever think otherwise.... he was trying to break up with her before dental school, and when he met me he did smile his family likes me much better, i think i have grown into a nice and reasonable person at the old age of 23 XD But yeah, i feel like you really have to go through college and learn those things about yourself... part of growing up eh xp
Thanks for all your love and support though, it definitely is AMAZING to not have to be alone in life, to have one best friend forever. heart I really wish all the best for you and your boyfriend, and if he really is the one, hold on to him tight! all relationships have rocky parts and it will never be perfect. you find the boy with the must-have qualities for you, and make it work. in reality it can be tough, and it is all about "making it work." i only realized that once i dated multiple guys and noticed all the same problems happening... because i was creating them. But anyway!

I am excited for you to get your Miyu - when did you order her? and it takes a couple of months, right? I have actually never ordered a doll direct from a company before. Every doll I have is from DoA second-hand (or my first one, from JunkySpot and the body from Luts which was probably already made so i didn't have to wait) But I did order a Might from Souldoll when he came out about a month ago. so I am prepared to wait until march or april smile
And i know you will love all of your dolls the same! its no good being alone without a family.... buuut... maybe you can have a favorite xd

omg yeah i want a puki. smile and i did try sueding beyla's joints with hot glue, it didn't work that great because like you said its all about the joints. Both her and my boy with Amber legs really struggle to stand up - one of his legs has a deficient stop and it is soooo annoying. Breccia came with separate discs in the leg, maybe thats what helps? confused

oh don't worry i know texas is huge, so thats cool anyway. XD you probably speak spanish, then?

Your boyfriend sounds really sweet xd lucky you! i am actually dating my dental school classmate. since they made us sit by last name, i had to be next to him every day at school for the past year and a half and we were both from hawaii and bonded over lots of joking and discussion about video games like wow and pokemon. xd when i first got to know him, i thought he was a total jerk... now we are planning to get married!!! rofl our families have a lot in common too. except he's incredibly "boring" in taste and i am crazy about creative fashions and artistic things, hahaha.... i love him to death because he is such a happy, positive person and a really good guy. anyways! it is nice when you can get them to help you look at dolls and such xp always nice to share what you love with the one you love huh. smile

Miyu is VERY cute! so... i didn't look at your doll list, but do you have others from fairyland? i love their sculpts and i especially want a puki one day. i heard they pose well too. i didn't realize there was ever a posing difference before, but now i see my little Beyla is a terror and Sarangeti is like a dream. her resin must be coated or something, because she stands on command and everything just sticks! could be the full body blushing she came with.

that is so funny, i knew a guy in college from Brownsville! do you live near there? he said it was at the very bottom tip of texas, really close to mexico. razz

I am so happy you have a supportive boyfriend!!! biggrin that is what every girl needs, right? that best friend that pushes you further where you need to go. mine is amazing personality wise, he just... doesn't exactly share my interests. he is a very macho boy and he could care less about dolls neutral or art, or anything pretty.... he thinks dolls shouldn't be worth more than $10. he doesn't understand. but he's very supportive of my hobby anyway cus he loves me. xp

I agree!! sometimes you know what you want them to do, and they WONT do it. gravity can be a problem XD or like you said, finickiness........ trust me, i actually did a stop motion project with my BJDs all by myself and it was soooo much work getting them to do what i wanted, and stay there. fun outcome though xd would have been nice to have a helper, ill tell ya that much whee

well you have to believe that you really really have a gift, for imagination and creativity and just plain writing in general 3nodding i am a lot more comfortable with drawing than with writing, but i don't feel that good at it either. Right now i have been working on trying to sew up as much doll clothes as i can to try to make enough money to pay for next months rent, because... of the girl i just bought >< ill go explain it on the forum now cus i just took pictures of her biggrin you inspired me!! ^__^ ill go post them~
but yeah, don't worry about the subject matter, i think it is a lovely story. tons of japanese anime deal with incest and their culture does not seem to have as much of a problem with it. even the western/christian based culture has a massive history of it. Besides, it ultimately makes it a very unique tale smile i believe you will get published someday!!!

actually, i can totally relate that pictures take a lot of effort. you have to wait for the right lighting, get the pose looking good, then take your camera upload the pictures to your computer, THEN to the internet, and overall its kind of time consuming stare i haven't even really introduced my dolls to the forum yet for that reason!!! hahahahaha
