Home: In an abandoned part of the
[Durem Reclamation Facility], which can now only be accessed through underwater pipes.
Back Story: Her and number of other subjects were created by G-Corp as an experiment to cross human DNA with that of animals, in hopes of making ways to improve human performance in any number of things. They picked animals from all across Gaia that represented extremes in there abilities. The Rubyback fish was selected for being the fastest, most agile of all fish. Powerful and elegant at the same time. They spliced it's genes with two subjects, one male and one female. The had high hopes for the two from the start, they didn't die off like most of the others did at a young age. But, when the two reached around 14 years of age, something went wrong. The male quickly and drastically changed. within a year he had become twice the size of his female counterpart, and had become excessively violent. One night, just before dawn, he lashed out against a member of the G-Corp, and inflicted grave wounds on him. In turn the other labtechs quickly tried to subdue and/or kill him. He killed or incapacitated all the labtechs that were at the location, and broke his way free. Not much is known of were is now, or if he is even still alive. His female counterpart, was looked over in all this, and she escaped, and went to the closest body of water, the Durem Reclamation Facility. The past 4 years she has lived there, and became as much a myth and legend as the Sapphireback fish. She hates most people, and enjoys messing with fisherman. She still misses her 'brother' as she calls him, whom she has not seen sense the day at the lab 4 years ago. She thinks he was hunted down and killed by G-Corp within the first few days of his escape.
