Changed my background again, obviously. Personally I think it's pretty funny since it's tiled, but whatever. 9_9Anyways, welcome to my profile. Since you're here, I'll indulge you in my interests
First of all, in case you haven't recognized the background pic, I happen to ADORE Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. There's no point in denying it, of course, seeing how I've seen both the stage musical (not the original, silly, but certainly a local production...I'm not THAT old, haha), Tim Burton's adaptation (my favorite: Johnny Depp TOTALLY should have won the Oscar...damn Daniel Day Lewis! DX), and I have a copy of the first story of said barber (The String of Pearls), not to mention all of the trivia I could possibly give you on this subject...which is a LOT. I know it might not be good to like something so morbid, but I try not to display this affection in public...much. =P
Secondly, I enjoy the infamous Twilight Saga/The Host (even though half of my friends don't =(). I wouldn't say that Stephanie Meyer was the greatest author in the modern world, but she has done pretty well as a novice since her Twilight books surprisingly have a lot of detail to it (in short, just read the Official Guidebook...you'll learn things that you have never even GUESSED at o.O), and so I have to appreciate her. However, unlike most fans, I do not like extreme fans of Twilight...I swear, the ravings of Taylor Lautner and his supposed "hotness" totally ruined my patience with Jacob Black...x.X Also, I believe that the movies could probably be improved some, (mainly in writing, although there are some quirks in the acting as well) but they are a lot better than they could have been...
Third, if you haven't been able to notice by my avatar, I also adore Sailor Moon, mainly the Japanese version (though the English version does has it's good qualities). To be honest, it's one of only about three animes I have attempted to watch, but Sailor Moon probably has to be one of the greatest animes ever created, with its equal parts of laugh-out-loud comedy, heart-warming romance, exciting and sometimes suspenseful action, and tear-jerking tragedy. Not to mention that their outfits are pretty cute, haha (but I would never wear those in public, their skirts are so short. 0_o). Currently I'm really obsessed with a Sailor Moon roleplay that my friend and I are doing...so much that I'm making it into a story! >< (If you'd like to see it so far, feel free to message me)
