Corrupted Rooder:

A Corrupted Rooder is the result of a Rooder succumbing to the inner darkness within her heart, either by sudden tragedy or by a Subordinates' influence. A Corrupted does not lose her powers, but she can no longer use the Sacred Bottle as a weapon.

There is only one Corrupted in recorded history, a young woman who'd fallen in her battle with a Subordinate. While most would die in this situation, he thought it would be more fun to fill her heart with darkness and hatred for her kind, and send her to attack her family. The Subordinate fed on her light and the two became immortal, bound to one another. Because of the bond, if one dies, they are brought back to life by the other, as his light and her darkness made them one. But if both were to die, then it would end their lives. For this reason, they only attack one at a time while the other waits.

The young womans' name was Samantha Cartwright, as the Cartwright name was before the Hamilton name in Rooder lineage. Born in 1899 and gaining her Rooder abilities at the tender age of eleven. Her mother was jealous, as her powers had not come until much later in her life, and were not as strong and refused to raise her as a Rooder. Her father taught her everything he knew. At the age of fourteen, she watched as the same Subordinate she would fall in love with later, after being taken and corrupted by him, kill her father.

At the age of nineteen, her powers began dwindling, and Samantha finally got her chance to fight the Subordinate. But she fell in battle, within an inch of her life, and was then corrupted by the Subordinates' influence. But he was exiled for not killing her, becoming an Indepente. He forced her to kill her mother, younger sister and anyone left in the Cartwright bloodline. Little did she know, her younger sister had had a baby daughter, sent away to live with her father, Reginald Hamilton.

Samantha uses her own frozen blood as weapons in close range-- shooting it from her finger tips to trap her opponents, or freezing them in streams attached to her, forming blood claws --or a large circular blade, the Corrupted Innocence.
