About Sango
Sango is an attractive 16-year old youkai exterminator (taijiya) who lives in the village of the Taijiya with her younger brother, Kohaku, and her father who is the head of the village. This village has powerful humans that have learned to master the techniques of youkai extermination and help others remove pesky youkai from their village. Sango uses a katana and the Hiraikotsu (made of youkai bones), gas bombs, physical combat, and the help of Kirara, her pet youkai, a flying cat-like creature. Sango enjoyed her work as a taiji and one day the best taiji were called to a castle to help exterminate a spider youkai. The person who invited them there was Naraku (though they didn't know at the time) and he possessed Kohaku and used him to kill his own father and the rest of the taiji. Sango tries to stop Kohaku, but she can't and is hit in the back with Kohaku's scythe weapon. The guards of the casltle shoot Kohaku with tons of arrows and right before he dies, he comes to his senses and cries to Sango. Sango tries to crawl over to him before she dies but the guards think she's insane too and shoot her with arrows and she dies, or so everyone thinks. The really sad part about Kohaku is that it was his first job as a taijiya.
After she was buried, she emerged from the ground and was taken in by Naraku (who pretends to be the master of the castle). He uses deception against her and says that her village was attacked by a youkai and everyone was killed. Sango becomes furious and asks who the youkai was. Naraku tells her it was Inuyasha. She then sets out on a mission: to kill Inuyasha. One of Naraku's clones (in the baboon outfit thingy) gives her a Shikon shard which she puts in her back. She's still bleeding, but the pain is nulled. Sango finds Inuyasha and attacks him. Inuyasha somehow convinces her that it was Naraku that betrayed her and she collapses, the Shikon shard falling out of her back. Kagome nurses her back to health, and Sango joins the group to seek revenge. But there's more tragedy to her: Naraku put a Shikon shard in her brother to keep him alive as a mindless drone (sometimes attacks the Inuyasha Group) and as an object used to manipulate Sango. She's also the one that reveals the secret of the creation of the Shikon no Tama, since her village is where the jewel originated from. Her and Miroku seem to have a thing for eachother, too.
PERSONALITY
Sango is calm and mature. She *was* very happy until Naraku killed everyone she loved, but some of her old happiness does return thanks to Miroku ^_^ She absolutely hates seeing her brother being used and wants nothing more than to have him back to his old self, but that's not very likely considering that he doesn't want to remember the night when he killed everyone and the fact that the only thing keeping him alive is the Shikon shard in his back. She's very kind, brave and friendly.
Attacks
1. She uses the Hiraikotsu where she throws her boomerang, cutting through almost anything.
2.She also uses various poison gases
3. She fights with her katana
4. She's an excellent physical fighter.
5.Kirara helps boost her attack skills and the kawaii little youkai comes in very handy itself.
