I would like to inform you about the convenient ability of comments: once enough space is taken up, your comments will just go into a history, with the most recent comments showing, and the others still accessible. Also, if there is a comment you don't want, you can delete them from "my gaia," then "my page" and "my profile." Once you get there, you can go down to the comments and click on the delete if you think you've got too many comments.
