Umm responding to whether you're ready or not... I would like to say..my self confidence is also zip, I'm all pretty much the same as you.... except well.. here's a story...(oh and sorry that I decided not to put this in the forum, but you'll have to get over it, or delete this) This girl was in my 1st and 3rd period, I was 14, freshman year(much like you right?) We also had the same lunch break... cool and all... she sat behind me... she wasn't the friendliest to strangers... she's very shy... we got introduced via a friend of ours, actually... I just sat at my friend's table one day... and I met everyone... me and this girl became the closest of friends within a week... pretty quick if you ask me.. seeing as how for 15 or so weeks, we didn't even talk, though we had about 3.5 hours everyday that we saw eachother... she's bi... had a lot of s**t happen.. and after breaking up with a boyfriend... decided guys are assholes... and decided she'd just be a lesbian, because not much about a guy attracts her... knowing this... a day or two after she declares this... I can't take it... I had developed feelings for about 3 weeks prior... I asked her out... still being the 0 confidence guy and stuff... she thought about it... said yes... now... you ask if you're ready? You think that you're not ready because you can't handle yourself? If he's as good a boyfriend as my girlfriend is a girlfriend... then yeah.. you're ready...and that whole PDA thing... you'll get over... at first... we were going out... I wouldn't hold her hand.. didn't hold her hand unless she grabbed mine... for... 3 months or so... barely hugged... now... we've gotten SLIGHTLY past that wink just saying... oh and b***h slap the hell out of him for pressuring you so much... and if he pushes too much, tell him to back off a bit
