That is both good what you are doing now but sad for the situation. I'm going to college next month and working on getting my Bachelors degree. If you go to Account Settings and change your currency from gold to platinum you'll make more overall. Platinum is the new currency they are using to decrease inflation.

They noted in a post that zOMG would not be brought back, so they made Lake Kindred which isn't as fun. nobody hacked but there was a chance, doesn't help that they couldn't update zOMG because they fired the one that made the coding for zOMG.

Well, it has been down for a over a year now, but the cause was that zOMG was closed as there was a chance someone could hack it and get into gaia from there to hack everyones accounts, to they closed it to prevent that, then gaia just never opened it up again and gave up on it.

Yeah, they haven't taken down all the Launch Zomg things, but zomg is gone. For inflation, they don't close accounts, and because the lack of value per gold, they increase gold rewards which results in more inflation.

Unfortunately, Zomg is gone forever, never to be continued. currently gaia has just made Lake Kindred, but it is not as fun as Zomg.

Meebo doesn't come anymore due to google taking down the program for meebo. so meebo is gone and chat won't come back until they find something to replace it.
