I Am Who I Am...Got It Memorized?
My real names Jen and I live in the Boogie Down Bronx. I'm 19 years old. I'm an artist, a gamer, a "happy goth" and all around good egg. I just finished celebrating two years with my wonderful boyfriend, Andrew. I take pride in being different from everyone else. So, get too know me before you judge me. You wouldn't wanna look like an a** now...would you? winkI'm a Temporal Agnostic. Wanna know what that is? Good. Look it up. I was raised a Christian/Catholic but that doesn't mean I agree with everything the Church does. Honestly, they can be so hypocritical. Wiccan Religion is probably the one religion I could say "makes sense" to me.
Like I said before, I'm a "Happy Goth" Despite my choice of clothing, it doesn't define my personality. I'm a very easy going person who is also very accepting of others and others' views. I'm always happy to help. I also love to cook, draw and on occasion, I even paint. Most times you'll see me wearing black, but once in awhile, if your lucky, you'll see me wearing other colors. As Chris Schaffer said: "Goths don't identify with evil; we mourn the evil in society. The fascination with death is basically a reminder to us of our own mortality. For these reasons, we were black." Bottom line.
I like all types of music, as you can see below. Just because I'm Gothic doesn't mean I just like Rock or Heavy Metal. I love other types too. Anything that speaks to me, or can make me move, I'll listen to it. My favorite bands include Disturbed, I Am Ghost, and Dir En Grey plus many more. I also love Japanese Rock/Heavy Metal and Japanese Pop.
I also love Anime. Dragonball Z will forever remain special to me as it was my first real anime next to Sailor Moon. Anime is becoming so popular now, it's amazing. ******** Naruto though. It killed my love for Ninjas and...real Ninjas don't wear bright orange jackets anyway...If the anime has any Dark, Vampiric, Gothic themes, most likely I'll watch it. Seldom does a "happy anime" come out that I will actually enjoy. The darker the better! I also love Yaoi. Yes, I think seeing two guys kiss and be happy in love with one another is the most beautiful thing ever. I'm VERY pro Gay. I hate Homophobic's and close minded idiots. Bottom Line. I also, on occassion, will watch/read a Yuri Anime/Manga. No, this does not make me a lesbian. Just because I think seeing two guys or girls together is sweet and natural, doesn't mean anything. So keep your nasty remarks to yourself =)
