I pray you didn't let your life come to an end.
I know that things were hard, and times got rough.
But I knew the best of you, wise one. You were tough.
You made me smile and you made me laugh.
Took away my anger, put me on the right path.
I'll never forget how you shined with so much greatness.
I'll never forget that you had so much patience.
I miss you so much and boy have things changed.
I wish it all would re-arrange.
But the past is the past and we must move on.
Somethings you just can't forget.
