Deep in a marsh in Africa lives a pack that praises the sun. The Pakiti Ya'Jua.

Though it is a new pack, they are hopeful their story will unfold and it will be a pack where every wild dog can come and feel safe and secure.

They are ruled by a queen, Winterwind, who seems to be cold if one does not know her. However, she has always been a fair queen, true to her word. She looks out for the pack as though every member were her child or relative. Pack is family. That is what she truly believes.
