What if you could see the color of a persons heart?
What if you could see the color of their soul?
What if what you saw wasn't always pretty?
What if what you saw was more beautiful than anything you've ever
imagined?
What if you could see these things?
Would you choose not to? Would you rather not walk down the street
seeing black heart after black heart, dark soul after dark soul, and
bleeding heart after bleeding heart?
What if you could see the pain of another persons heart, see the
wretched scars upon their soul... but did not know them?
Would you stop to say a kind word, or would you cary on ignoring
them?
What if you could only see the good pure hearts, when you chose to
clean up a broken one, but for every broken heart you mended, your
own was left a little more weak, weary, and broken?
What if you could see the color of one's soul...
Would you choose to see them?
Sometimes...
but only SOMEtimes...
I wish I couldn't.
