Hello all smile
I am a vet tech from the northeastern part of the US. I'm also an apprentice dog trainer and am planning to sit for my CPDT soon. I have a huge interest in animal behavior, but since it's such a broad field I know mostly about dogs, cats and mice. I used to ride horses, both of mine are too old now, and used to be a Kinder goat breeder.

I am married to a wonderful man who loves me as much as I love him. We live with my Mother-in-Law and between the 3 of us we have 6 cats, 3 dogs and 2 birds.

I finally read The Other End of the Leash recently! So great. heart I wish it were required reading for people--everyone tries to greet Elsie by being loud and over her and touching the top of her head and I'm like bitchplzstop. gonk

Do you have any books you recommend? I love reading.

Uggh, LA is pretty sweet. My sister's at UCLA right now, for history.

That would be awesome. I love Karen Pryor's writing--it makes so much sense.

Does your school typically have a lot of folks working under the professor, though? I know sometimes the actual PI can be pretty out of touch with some of the day to day in their lab.
