Oh yea I've met loads of ignorant people like that. Believe it or not, I'm actually a quarter Spanish and my dad was Cuban, so that makes me half and I've met folks who would legit assume stuff like if I'm Puerto Rican or Mexican or something. And I never tell them lol. Once someone thought I was Italian and then even German a couple times for some reason o.O but yea. Us Latinos are a varied bunch and it annoys me when people assume you're from somewhere when you're really not. Like it's fine if you don't know where I'm from, I don't expect you to but don't start thinking to yourself that you do. A perfect example was when I was at a liquor store (doing guard duty) and it was pretty quiet and not a lot of customers were rolling in so the guy running the register engaged in some small talk with me. Then out of the blue, he literally had asked "so what part of the middle East are you from?" And I was just like....Staring at him for a couple seconds until I finally replied with "I'm not from there, I'm Hispanic." smh -.-

I see, I see. Thank you. I don't know much about Arabic or other types of middle Eastern music so I can't say much on the matter but I remember once going to Epcot and there was a morrocan country themed part in the park that we checked out and it had this Moroccan band playing and just the instruments and all the singing sounded really good to me. Definitely had a nice energy to it.

So yea, apart from all this you want to maybe become friends so we can get to know eachother more? ;3

Hell yeah, skyrims and fallouts awesome. I was mostly using Minecraft as an example that not all metalheads fit under the same stereotype. We are a varied bunch with different tastes. And yea, I am actually on the same page with you as far as music goes. I love Celtic frost. Used to listen to them back in high school a lot. I'm into some death metal but I'll admit I do like the classic stuff and power metal bands more than I like death metal. It seems to kind of become stale or stagnant in their music when all you hear on Pandora is a bunch of incomprehensible screaming vocals and other overthetop stuff like that. It all just sort of blends in, in my opinion. I also like some thrash and a bit of speed metal, but my favorites definitely power metal and some classic heavy metal examples. I remember back in my angsty teenage years I used to listen to a lot of death/hardcore s**t and even some nu metal like Korn, but since then my pallate has expanded by a lot. And really, don't sweat it, sometimes I'm a bit but of a broken record so I'll sometimes repeat something that I don't always remember having said before to someone so yea, you're not alone with having shitty memory. But yea, I love bands like Iced Earth, hammer fall, kamelot, dark moor, stratovarius, sabaton, firewind and many more like that. I also do like some industrial stuff. Like orgy and zeromancer are pretty nice. star assembly to an extent too and yea who doesn't like some Rammstein? Lol you seem pretty cool btw, I'm glad someone like you made an effort to reach out to me. There's not many of our kind around, especially not on this site lol

Yea, I get you. And hey, I don't mind lengthy comments lol. So if I were a metal elitist d-bag, would that mean there's a little of me inside you? Lol just kidding, don't mind my pervy joke there. Anyhow, it's OK, I don't judge. I happen to play Minecraft and listen to some dummy Birgit or among amarth. Doesn't make me weird, just a person of different tastes you know? But I get what you're saying, people and their labels definitely get a lot of things wrong about metal enthusiasts. And yeaaaaaa....That was a bad day when she did throw it out the window lol. I was really mad. But it's in the past so I'm like whatever now. By the way, I don't really have a standard bar on how metal people should be lol if you're cool and you have good taste in music, then that's fine really. I'm a pretty chill guy at times so don't feel pressured in trying really hard or something lol.
