Bio: When Shukata was very young, the small village his nomad people lived in came under attack by invading bandits. Upon sight of the attack, Shukata's father - A proud warrior in their tribe - ushered his family to leave the village, taking only what they could carry. Together with his mother and father, Shukata headed out of the village and into the "Valley of Garuru," a frozen tundra ringed by mountains on all sides with only one way in and out on either side. Deciding it was too dangerous to cross straight through the valley, Shukata's father led the group along the mountain range, but within a day, a furious blizzard kicked up. After only a few hours, the family was wrought with cold, and Shukata became separated, leaving his parents alone and freezing to death in the storm. Wrought with grief, the young human stumbled into a cave in the mountains, blindly walking the frozen natural halls. Cold and hungry, Shukata stumbled across a dead-end clearing in the cave, illuminated by a strange light, a large egg sitting in the center of the clearing. Blind with hunger, Shukata unwittingly ate the egg, shell and all, falling asleep just afterward. Upon waking, the young human felt strangely warm, with no knowledge of the fact that he had just devoured the God Beast Egg of Lord Garuru. As he wandered back out of the cave, Shukata began to notice that the blizzard cleared before him at the will of his own mind. Not knowing how he projected such energy to influence the storm, he sought help from the chieftain of the next village. During his trek there, Shukata had concluded that he had somehow inherited some sort of magical ability, so he sought the village mage. Once he'd found the mage, he explained what had happened and the mage simply cast him a jealous gaze. The mage told him that he had devoured the egg of a God Beast, claiming the powers held within.
Weapons: Shukata carries a simple blade. Though he can use his abilities to infuse the blade with magical energy, he relies mostly on his swordsmanship to get him through battles.
Powers/Abilities: Shukata possesses the power of the God Beast Garuru, commanding the magical powers of ice. With his powers he can summon blizzards and use the moisture in the air to perform powerful ice-based attacks. Though in cold weather he is virtually immune to cold, in warm weather he feels cold, so he is constantly wrapped in warm clothing.
Appearance: Shukata is a medium build of human. He stands at 5'11" and weighs about 160 lbs. He is constantly in cold weather gear, as if he is always cold, hiding everything except his eyes which shine an icy blue.
