I'm always writing fantasy:

There's nothing I like more than taking the ordinary and making extraordinary. To take a diseased, ugly fellow and turn him into and angel, or a rather plain girl and make her so enchantingly lovely that nymphs blush and Aphrodite turns green with envy. Albinoes, tea house girls, villagers. . . the readers know there is nothing really special about them; I even make a ooint, at one time or another, of telling them so. We all know there's nothing trully to them, its all just in my head and my words on a page.

But when read, and read again, one finds its not just a story I'm telling, its a spell. Each time you're reciting my incantation in your head and falling under the power of my enchantment. You know what my characters really are but begin to see them as I see them, as they see each other. You hear it so often you begin to believe it yourself.

Writing is more than words...

It doesn't matter if it's scifi, historical fiction, or fiction, or non fiction. Writing is a type of magic.
