Peace, Love, and Happiness dudes and dudettes. Hope ya'll had a really sweet Christmas and got everything you wanted. For all you that don't know me, I am a hippie at heart, without the drugs, and unfortunately, don't really look like my avatar. I really wish I could have bright green hair, but I also refuse to dy my hair b/c I don't want to damage it. I'd prolly end up getting sick of it and have to wait until all my natural hair grew back. Not to mention, it just looks plain wrong when someone dies their hair some color that it really isn't and the roots start to show your original color. I think that looks kind of weird. So I guess I'm glad I have an avatar so that I can have green hair. And although I do wear a heck of a lot of headbands,
I only dress all out there
hippie on certain days, mainly
in the summer when I can wear
all my totally awesome 60's
skirts. I'm slightly guitar hero
obsested, at least, I go through
my stages. It's pretty much
only b/c my parents won't
sign my up to learn how to
play the real guitar. I bought
one and everything, but they
haven't the time to teach me
how to play themselves, and
haven't gotten around the signing
me up yet. So I use that as
my substitute. I like going to concerts, especially ones where I know all the words to the songs. But if a few friends ask me to go to a rock concert just to go, I will. I found myself at a My Chemical Romance concert last February and I didn't know any of the words to the songs, not even Welcome to the Black Parade!-- which I know is a probably a real shocker to MCR fans. But when I went to the Bowling for Soup concert alone, and knew all the words to every one of the songs they played (w/ the exception of maybe one or two), but none of my friends were there, it just wasn't as fun. So I'll pretty much go to any concert if I can afford it. I'm kinda music obsested, if you can't tell already. I'm in orchestra and play the violin, and in marching band and play the alto saxophone. Marching band is really cool, to this day, even though the season has been over for monthes now, I still drum cadences w/ my fingers and don't even notice I'm doing it. I wish they'd come up w/ a skating band for hockey games, cuz I really miss marching band. Pep band is alright, but it's the marching to those cadences that I live for. I like John Mayer. Anyone ever heard of him? I didn't even know I liked him until I got this mp3 player that shows you who plays the song on the radio, and it was the song "Waiting on the World to Change" that I really like. But it turns out he has a few other good songs. I'm afraid to eat fish, which sounds weird, but I'm not afraid to eat sterilized bugs. I used to get 'em for Easter every year in packages, and my mom would kinda pressure me to eat them, so I did, and I don't see why the world is more grossed out by bugs than fish. Those things w/ the gills, flapping around like that. Their fins moving around like that is so nasty. I could never eat a fish, and the only time that I ate one is when my mom fed my fish sticks as a two-year-old. Brief update on me. Comment me, I'm cool, I'll comment you back.
