That's unfortunate to hear. They say the worst happens to the best. I would agree with them. That seems to be the case for a lot of situations..
Though there can't be no end. For every triumph, a greater obstacle shall present itself. Thus is life.
I take it you aren't fond of karma then.

Well, in two more days it will mark the 5th anniversary of my brothers suicide.
As for the person I 'loved', she left me for my best friend roughly a month ago.
You haven't answered the question yet, however. (:
