Skoara is the daughter of Skane and Karyn, she is the twin sister of Ashoara. This family is anything but ordinary.Skane was the king of the Fire realm, his wife, Karyn, was supposed to be the heiress of the Aquashi Empire. That is, before she disappeared.
Fire and Aquashi, these to realms were in an eternal battle, two realms of opposite elements will be this.
The disappearance of the Aquashi "princess" had striken hate in the hearts of the Aquashi people. They blame the disappearance on the Fire people, who denied any connection what so ever with the Aquashi monarchy. They had no idea until later that she was in the place, hiding as one of the servants.
However, once this was discovered, he had married her, and she was about to give birth, to two daughters. Now, just the thought of the births terrified the couple, for if the children were half fire half water element, they would die as soon as they took their first breaths. This would be a tragic loss for both The King and the fire realm, for the Queen Karyn would only be strong enough to give birth to the daughters. The doctors had told them the chance of Karyn surviving was only 25%.
Unfortunatly, that 25% was not for them. Karyn died after the two were born. Luckily the daughters survived. One of them, Ashoara, was born 75% water element, 25% Fire. Skoara, on the other hand, was born 75% Fire element, and 25% water.
Now, to explain how the dominant and the opposite elements work. While the opposite is not the strongest, it can still take over the dominant. If you don't understand this, think split personality.
When the Queen died, Skane said to hide the newbornes. He felt that if the Aquashi found out about their heiress dying on Fire realm soil, they'd start yet another war.
While Skane lived in the castle, his first son along side him, Skoara went to live as a servant. The first son's mother, and how Skoara and her fake mother are actually related, and the King's secret, will be left for another time...
