Looks like I strayed back to Gaia somehow.

After my long absence, here I am, with a new profile. To match my new obsession.

.hack is still my true lover, but I'm currently having a very steamy affair with Higurashi (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni), and Higurashi Solutions (Higurashi no Naku koro ni KAI). I'm even downloading the old school computer game, Higurashi Daybreak, as I type this.

Higurashi is about a group of friends who live in a village and go to a one-classroom school. In the numerous arcs, each starts off normally with everyone being happy, etc etc, but end in pain and misery while someone goes insane. There's usually death involved.

Higurashi Solutions is the second season of the anime, where the protagonists finally start getting some headway and stuggle for a future that isn't painted with blood. The difference in the message sent of the openings of the anime, between Higurashi and Higurashi Solutions is fairly obvious; the first one talks about insanity and "taking away all of someone's fingers", etc. The second is more about saving everyone who normally loses their s**t and drives a knife through someone, with "You're not a flower of hell, don't bloom there, don't bloom there."

Watcher be warned, this is even gorrier than Elfin Lied. Not advised to be watched in a dark room at three am, while you're alone.

Hell yes I still buy CD's, and I know what you mean by the feeling of lestinging to songs on CD. And thats the reason I buy manga rather than read online, so I can support the Manga-ka.
