Well, first things first - my name is Amanda and I live in rural North Queensland, Australia. My life is pretty mediocre - I am just working at the moment, however I do intend to go to uni within the next 2 or 3 years (I'm still trying to decide which course - most probably a Bachelor of Nursing Sciences).
My main hobbies are gardening and pretty much being a "Suzie Home-maker". I have always loved reading; anything from cheesy romance, horror, history, philosophy, science and Harry Potter. I am particularly interested in Tudor History and just England/English History in general. I also hope to someday live and work in England or somewhere in Europe; that would be a pretty awesome experience.
I'm not really into anime so much anymore - I guess I've kinda grown out of it. I like all sorts of music; classical, techno/dance, heavy metal, jazz, oldies (from the 30's onwards). I don't mind some emo/pop when I'm in the right mood...
I don't go out much - where I am the night life is about as exciting as watching grass grow. However, if you are driving around the clubs at about 3am (when they close) you can usually see some pretty intense altercations. Drunk idiots provide many lulz. I haven't been drunk for a long time - I don't mind a few lime smirnoff twists now and then however I actually am intolerant of most alcoholic beverages nowadays; it either makes me sick or sends me to sleep. No biggie I guess. I don't smoke, and I don't do drugs - my only addiction is Mythbusters... and maybe Crossing Jordan. I also enjoy Law and Order: SVU and Criminal Intent, The Office and Dexter.
So hmm... I guess that's about it for now. I didn't intend to write that much but I tend to get carried away when I'm typing (like now for instance). I guess I will update this thing when something interesting happens, but for now - Adieu! xx
