Reflect upon the passing days, I gaze into
the water, a river made from the tears of
our lives , the cries of our minds , the sound
of life as we are let go.
when will you remember who you are?
days fall upon stars and i am not afraid
to fall into the water and call your name.
no, i am not afraid of what you will say
these words are mine and you will never
take my voice from me, i am free, i breathe,
i exhale and existence is defined by the right
to live with our demons and our sins
remembering that we are human, and evil
can never win , when we hold onto each other
and the light within, the water calls my name
and i am not afraid to fall in
reflect upon the passing years, i gaze into
the sky, a blue so clear , a gateway into the soul,
my eyes, look into the depths of who i am
and see, the things of which i dream
crystalline spires upon the clouds, my voice
in your ear whispering the sound, i will
always be with you in my heart, hiding
from sight, waiting to be found.
