Hi!!! So this update will serve as an addendum to a previous one. As it still stands, I'm still lurking around the site, but the amount of lurking has been cut down by a lot. I'm coming up to a HUGE turning point in life and this year will be very crucial for me. In that regard, I'm only asking for some patience if you message me and I don't get back to you right away. Besides this, life has been pretty good. For those that don't know, I'm engaged to NowhereMan0012002 in real life. No dates are set for the marriage, but it'll probably happen in the next 4-5 years (barring that everything works out for me this year.... xp ). I've also earned my bachelor's degree in biology (Yay!!). Now I'm working on the big one... I'm not quite there yet, but by next year if everything goes my way, I would have achieved my ultimate goal of becoming a doctor! heart
Anyway, I just want to take this time to thank you guys for your friendship and for listening to me babble (sometimes senselessly, lol). We may have only chatted briefly or extensively about one subject or many subjects, but I do cherish that time. It was you guys that helped me form part of my identity and it would be terrible of me not to acknowledge that. I may not have been the most popular person on Gaia, but I'm thankful for the people I have met on here and those that I have gotten closer to, my fiance especially. I don't want to say that this is goodbye as I hope I can sometimes come back here to say "hello" if anyone is left, but I just want to express my feelings in the event that it takes much longer than expected to come back here. In any case, I do wish you all the best of luck in whatever you decide to do and I look forward to maybe "seeing" you all again in the near future. biggrin heart

Tekken 7 looks interesting, but I think my interest has died down lately. Been trying to develop my own story, creating characters around a fighting game system (if that makes any sense).
I doubt this will be the last time we talk to each other, but chances are it won't be nearly as often as it was in the past. Keep rockin' in the real world! And do well in med school!

Yet surprisingly, I'm now more excited about Angel and Michelle Chang making their comebacks in Tekken Tag 2.
Rest assured "The Official Tekken Thread" is getting updated by myself as the updates come.

Xiaoyu in SFXTEKKEN sounds...interesting in English. Spunky, high-pitched, and aggravated-catlike are the words that come to mind. Jin sounds much better in English here than in Blood Vengeance, but it may take time to get used to if you listen to him regularly.
Now that I've gotten to play SFXTEKKEN (I liked it a whole lot more than UMVC3), my interest is now awaiting Tekken Tag 2 and eventually TEKKEN X STREET FIGHTER. Fighting hype aside, I hope you're doing well, wherever you are. Adieu!

As for the rest of the Tekken news, this is definitely shaping up to be the year of the Tekken. Although I haven't heard anything new about TxSF aside from the last thing (the Ken/Chunli animation teaser with Heihachi and Nina)...can't wait until we get some concrete info on that game. SFxT is definitely shaping up nicely, and it'll be interesting to see how the non-English speaking Tekken characters get treated in English. I can say this much, Hwoarang sounds...different. It'll definitely be an adjustment to make, although I think bigger English speaking Japanese characters are in store for this crossover...

Either way, I can't wait for this move to be released!! Have you been keeping up with E3 this year? There's SO many Tekken things going on! Tekken Hybrid (which includes Tekken Blood Vengence and Tekken Tag 1 HD) for the PS3, Tekken Wii Successor, Tekken for the 3DS, SF x Tekken, and Tekken x SF (both of which I think will also be on the 3DS and PS Vita). Harada really hooked us up this year!!!
If the English leaves an unsettling taste, there should be a link to the Japanese audio trailer. Either way, this is looking to beat Hollywood's attempt at a Tekken movie by a longshot. Literally. Just thought I'd let you know about this potential gem. Have a great summer, KurichiPan!
