All true, all too true. But my idea more meant like - take any pose from any item and they'll release an item for that with like 10 poses, but each pose is just that one item on a different layer. That'd be reeeal nice.

Ah that's just silly lurker-talk. It's never too late to spam up a thread, I always say. Unless the thread fell off the first page on the forum. But who reads those? Some looney-lurkers, probably. You need to post so people can see someone other than me using this lace. You know I rarely visit other forums like GD or AT and even there i'm told by people they can't wear the laces because they think I own them. xD

Which I do. They made these laces for me.

Aw hell, i'm never gonna know which outfit you're talking about. Something with red/white/pink and the white lace, hm... Really must have been a while back. I feel challenged to try and recreate it!
Anyhoo, yeah I always wear this Milady headpiece. There's a good few things that layer over it, yeah. It's nice.

The sudden-layer-change I am most bitter about is the Tuscano Jacket. How I loved that jacket before... It layered under corsets and most things. It was glorious... All this layering talk makes me want to go to the GCD an start bitching that I want a Ticket which lets you add special layers to any single pose item you choose.

Some non-layering talk, then! I must say i've never seen you before now, Sves. Am I encountering... a lurker?

Ah man, looks like I have way less avatars saved than I thought. Only started saving 'em recently! And I change so slow.
Is the one you mentioned in that pic? I actually don't have alot of pink in my outfits at all.

lol You tellin' the truth, the layering for these laces is tricky. I managed to save one outfit with layering that now unequips the lace - layering that's now impossible, but still works if I load it from the saved avatar. Such a weird thing, it's just a necklace that unequips it.
Anyway, I like what you've done. You've definitely succeeded. I like how that hair layers the black underneath. Bonus points to you~ that's classy.

It warms me to find a Lace-sister. Don't worry about your so-totally-and-not-at-all-flattering creepy message. I'll have you know I directed all my friends right to it and said "SEE!" They be hatin' on me, jealousy is an ugly thing. lol It just gave me the biggest s**t-eating grin, I thank ya girl~

Now, while I do save almost all of my avatars in a folder, I don't exactly have an archive. Hm. Maybe I can whip one up real quick if you're really interested. And hey, you ain't half bad at the Lace-fu yourself. But i'm pretty sure you know that, eh?

I can't even imagine what it'll be like a year from now. I bet a trillion will be nothing by that time. It feels like Gaia hasn't cared about us in a long time now. Ugh, I hope all the funds aren't going towards that site. I checked it out once and noped out of there right away. The layout was awful, the avatars are awful and the content was also bleh.

I know. The last time I tried zOMG it was just pathetic. I think the only reason they keep it around is so people can get Alchemy ingredients. And now it seems like Alchemy will probably be abandoned next in favor of GoFusion. It's just one abandoned feature after another these days.

Indeed. It's kind of a lurker's paradise with so much interesting stuff to look at.

I just don't see how they can dig themselves out of this. I don't think the economy will ever recover.

Same here. Dressing up my avatar is pretty much all that I do. Most of the people we hung out with have seemed to move on to something else so there really isn't much left to do.

Reddit is addicting. Although I've always been a lurker and never post anything.

I know! They just make it seem so pointless. The gold sinks came a bit too late. And no matter what we do it seems like they'll keep throwing them at us, one after the other. Users who want to help but don't have much gold can't even afford the "rewards" we all unlocked before the next sink happens. And in the end it doesn't amount to anything when the release a new generator everyday and always have two of them in the shop.

I agree with you that if I were new to this site I wouldn't give it the time of day now. It's impossible to afford anything but gold shop items, the games and features always get neglected and tossed away and I really only wanted to hang out for the forum conversations, I may as well just go to Reddit instead. They have subreddits for everything under the sun.

Seriously. I don't feel like they care about our thoughts or wishes at all anymore. It's all about the cash. And now with these kickstarters they're even making us buy features and events forcing people to buy gold gens? How much sleazier can they get at this point?

Good luck to you, Spezington. Such a task would break me. When my inventory was not even a quarter of what it is now I gave up on trying to organize it which was okay before Gaia came up with their crazy release schedule. Now there are so many items in my own inventory I have no idea what they look like or the name of them. And then keyword searching never turns up what I'm looking for.

Gaia promised to update the arranger and I feel like they're never going to actually do it. Instead they add a billion items no one can keep up with and random features I don't think anyone really asked for.

Heh, maybe your sister will become a pro at the market.

I can't even imagine how long that would take to arrange all those items. I gave up on inventory arranging forever ago since the arranger is total crap and they still haven't updated it. I heard of someone organizing inventories for people using some website to control your mouse movements or something but I wonder if Gaia would even find that okay to do? I think that person is crazy for liking to arrange inventories either way though.

Wow, so you're almost there. Way to go, Spezington. That's a good strategy I hadn't looked at. I doubt I'll ever accumulate enough charms to make anything worthwhile without consciously making an effort and buying some which I don't want to do.

I guess that's one advantage we have is that we've been here so long, had crappy items we never got rid of but now are actually worth a decent amount due to the rarity in this crazy economy. Some of those SDPlus dolls I have and never even thought about, man. But I still like them and keep them so I guess it doesn't matter so much.

Indeed. I feel like they hardly try on half the items they release. Congrats on completing two of your goals! That's crazy you bought all the gold shop items. How many items is that anyway? Does that include Denier Cri and Loyal's, too? =O And how much gold was that? Although I'm guessing the gold amount won't be really all that much in today's economy. Even old RIG fail items that hardly anyone ever wanted are worth several millions these days.
