Naraku was born from Onigumo the human part of him consuming demons into his badly burned body. It all began when Onigumo was in a war then was injured badly and Onigumo laid dying and then a priestess Lady Kikyo found him taking him to a cave tending his wounds then when Kikyo was gone Onigumo called forth demons telling them to sonsume his body and so the great Lord Naraku was born.
Naraku was a great enemy and powerful though his human half still felt for kikyo and now this halfbreed inuyasha Narakus worst enemy falls in love with her and so he devises a plan to set the two up which he did causing Inuyasha to be sealed to the great tree.
Powers and Abilities: Shapeshifting, Creating reincarnations of himself, Creating puppets of himself, And forming miasma.
