My name is Rick Taylor and my girlfriend is Jennifer Willis, I love her more than anything in this world. Everything was good and carefree until that faithful day...

Jennifer and I were going to interview the legendary Dr. Henry West, the world's foremost expert in Parapsychology, for our term papers but on the way we were caught in a terrible storm and made a mad dash into Dr. West's mansion. There were rumors going around of how Dr. West was performing hideous experiments and even people going missing so we were going to meet him to straighten out these silly rumors. I mean they've gone as far as calling his place "Splatterhouse".

But anyway, after we made it inside everything was pitch black--no lights or anything and the next thing I know I was hit in the head with something and I passed out hearing Jennifer screaming and being dragged off.

I don't know how long I was laying there but I heard evil sounding whispers, I thought I was losing my mind! I thought I was dead for sure but I came to and found this odd mask on my face and I could hear it speaking to me, telling me that Jennifer could only be saved with it's help and it did! I stood up finding myself stronger than I ever felt before and so pissed off I was seeing red!

It was time to crack some skulls and find my babe!
