Lily cracks open the door to the room and dumps out tons and tons of ping-pong balls and , oh, what-the-heck - some basketballs, volleyballs, tennis balls, tiny bouncy balls and great-big superballs!

Lily cast *perpetual motion" on everything and then quickly pulls the door shut, chuckling wickedly, and quickly shimmies away. lol

<chuckle> I've never played anything but good characters. Usually lawful, but this time went with neutral - I figure somethings call for law and some things call for chaos. <grin> Jules would tell you I'm chaotic naturally, but that's cause he's always lawful.

Doing some hobbity liberation, eh? What's 'e gots in 'is pockets, eh?

Have you ever seen a webcomic called Dungeons & Denizens? It's D&D from the dungeon monster's point of view. Funny.

Pity about the girls you know, but *YAY* for the girlfriend. When she moving down?

I'm lucky - Julian has been playing with us for a long time so he's as invested in gaming as I am. Vi's bf had never gamed before (his parents were of the opinion that it's *demonic*!), but he has really embraced the game and is just great to work with. One of the few guys I've gamed with who thinks about working as a team as opposed to being a glory hound. Plus - working towards drunken master. How cool is that? He has this great hallucination of a bartender that the rest of us are working to see. <laughter>

Ouch. Although people not showing, or in our case, leaving early because their boyfriend calls, is a pain. One girl in our group consistently would either not show or leave early because of her boyfriend, who isn't a gamer. She'd hand me her druid right in the middle of a battle to play so she could leave. Grr. We don't bother telling her when we game anymore. She's interested, but too flaky to be reliable. Sweet girl, though.

Do you have any female gamers in your group? Most of the time, we're evenly ratioed female to male. Sometimes Mum sits in and shows us "youn'uns" how it's done. It's always fun when she sits in - she runs a real kick-@ss fighter. We never die when she plays. <grin>

Stuck in a dungeon's not too bad. Right? Is your DM still rubbing his hands in glee?

We're stuck in a dancing meme in castle in the past - danged thing keeps reappearing every so many years and repeating the events of the day cause it's stuck in a 'powerful magic spell' <snicker> You have to learn the court dance or take subdual damage. Vi's ranger took so much damage, she fell unconscious and was almost trampled to death by dancing courtiers. And it was hysterical trying to get the guys to deal with RPGing the dance.

So when's the next game?
