Hey there! I'm not currently in college, I'm taking a year off. Though, if I had known how hard it was to get a job these days in this economy, I wouldn't have left...I am the proud mother of four beautiful rats(all females; the two fancy rats are Nigel(white rat) and Annabelle(cream color); the two dumbo rats(dumbo 'cause of their ears) are Polly(grey) and Adelaide(white and black)). They are absolutely beautiful! I am also a proud mother of my Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever/Chocolate Lab mix(so my shelter claims), Martha Gayle. She started out as Coco at the shelter, but then one of the inmates saw her and said "That looks like my mother-in-law, Martha Gayle!" And that's how she got her name. I have a Maine Coon mix cat who has gotten really sweet lately(worrisome? Yes. She's probably plotting to kill me.) named Andy. The family pets are a tabby cat named Millie(I rescued her by trapping her in a cat carrier when she was a six week old wild kitty; Tank, a German Shepherd/Husky mix(who used to belong to the person I once called my brother, but then said person stopped taking care of him and was going to take him to the pound around where he lived(the shelter I go to, we keep animals as long as we have space and they aren't aggressive or sick), so we took him); Penny, a black lab mix we rescued(I looked in the back of a truck at PetSmart one Sunday and there she was, waiting to be adopted!); Mattie, the annoyingly ugly cute puggy; and Freya, our most recent addition, and a Mastiff puppy. We got her at ten weeks October 4th. She's grown up so fast! Oh, and almost forgot this little guy(he's my baby also): Thomp(silent p) Scottson! Long story on his name. I started out with a rainbow Betta that I called Scott Thompson(who's a gay actor). I then got another Betta(a female) that eventually went in with Scott. Her name was Son ScottThomp(silent p). Scott was killed by Son, and then not long after, Son died herself. Then I ended up with Tom, who's blue and nowhere near as colorful as Scott, but I stuck with the name thing anyway.(Actually it was my older brother who named him that, but oh well.) So far Tom has survived for six months. My Betta I had before Scott was Sonny. He went to college with me, almost froze to death when we came home for winter break, and then died over spring break...but Tom seems to be doing great so far! Anyway, that's it, I reckon.
