So, by some strange twist of fate, you have stumbled upon my profile. Name's StrikeBrief. Call me Strike. Pleasure to, ur, meet you? Sure, why not? Anywho, onto some basic stuff about me since you must be interested. Assuming that's why you're here anyways. If you're here just to comment, feel free.
1| About Me sections are weird to write.
2| I like shoes.
3| I like donations.
4| I do not believe that Ninjas or Pirates will win. I believe that they will join forces to rule the world and the process the world will implode from the perfection. It is only a matter of time, so enjoy it while it lasts.
5| I am a Writer and I am a Musician (moreso Singer). Ironically enough, I do not write music. As a matter of fact, I am horrible at it. Go figure.
6| I am pro-Gay Marriage.
7| Politics make my head hurt.
8| I believe argument is good (and sometimes fun) in small doses and the topic of argument is small and inconsequential. ON the other hand, I hate Highly Volatile arguments that just make everyone's head hurt afterwards. They usually just put everyone in a bad mood and no true consensus is reached. AKA waste of time.
9| Whoever complained to the admins because siggys were too long needs to get a life. Really, really badly.
10| I am addicted to my Ipod.
11| Laughing is the bestest. Especially great big belly-laughs.
12| Show Choir owns your soul! As well as mine.
13| Tektek-ing is awesomely fun.
14| I hate my job, but I feel obliged to stay for the awesome scheduling flexibility and the people who I'd feel like I would be abandoning to the Vats from Hell.
15| I like potatoes: French Fries, Chips, mashed, baked, waffled, pancaked, hashed. They are just teh delissshh.
16| I seem extremely boring in person because I spend all of my free time on the computer writing, reading fanfics, Gaia-ing, or looking at my several online profiles.
17| I lurve movies. Lots and lots and lots of them.
18| My brother is one of the coolest people I know. Strange, no?
19| I lurve video games a whole bunch. Sadly, I'm not as good at them as I would like to be. That's more my brother's forte. I am pretty good at games along the lines of puzzles and weird goofy stuff that most people would think is ridiculous. Those ones are my favs and make me giggle a bit. I am also a Kingdom Hearts fan as well as a Final Fantasy junkie.
20| I do not use any instant messaging systems anymore for the sheer reason of avoiding annoying and creepy people. Blame them.
21| I admire Tamora Pierce with the entirety of my being. I kiss the ground she walks on. If I could be half the writer or even person that she is, I would be honored. She is one of the two authors that I don't even bother to check out from the Library before buying her work (Take a random guess at the other. You'd be right.) I trust her writing that much. You really should read her stuff. Trust me. You will not be disappointed.
22| I'm going to be perfectly honest when I say that I'm probably going to judge you if your grammar is horrendous. I'm not talking typos and little oopsies, but if I need to read what you wrote more than 3 times to just figure out what the jeebus you're trying to say, there's probably going to be a bit of scoffing and rolling of eyes. Just going to put that out there.
23| I love almost all music. It's just a lot easier to tell you what I don't like, but that's dwelling on the negative, so preferences go out to Techno, Heavier Rock...basically anything with a pulse if you know what I mean. Something to vent with, something to bop to, or something to dance to. A kind of music that gets your mind, heart, or body moving. (Current Favorites: Mindless Self Indulgence, Kelly Clarkson, Stephen Lynch)
24| I do not believe that "rap" stands for "retards attempting poetry." People that think that are closed minded. Granted, a lot of rap is about "the bitches and hos," "the bling," and "the blow" nowadays. That or how ridiculously cool they think they are. Which is absurdly annoying. But one should not discriminate against a sect of music because of...a rough patch in the realm of that particular sect's stream of creativity?
25| Yes, I do find it funny that as I went on, my entries got longer and more philosophical.
