Good morning, in short I'm odd. Not so much in the numerical sense, though I do quite enjoy numbers. I love my music, especially The Mars Volta, Le Tigre, The Dresden Dolls, George, Die Artze, Placebo, Bic Runga, Silverchair, A Perfect Circle and My Chemical Romance (I don’t give a damn about the ‘Emo’ stigma, I listen to what I want to). I listen to lots of other stuff (jazz and classical as well as a heap of other bands), but at the moment those are my favourites. I love the Simpsons and I'm not indifferent to the colour puce (primarily because it's so overlooked within society).As I said before I'm rather fond of maths, not business maths however. Business maths makes me lysdexic. Physics fascinates me the most, it has led me to believe time doesn't apply to me (simillar to Dr.Who, only he had an ultrashibby Tardis to live in).
I spend a lot of time reading, mainly fantasy, but I am loyal to a webcomic or two. Favourite author has to be Anne Bishop, I also read a lot of Robert Jordan (I got sucked in and now I'm hooked on the b*****d's plot). At the moment I’m hunting down all of Sarah Waters published works- she’s amazing! I do quite like the Internet, especially the web comics Pandect, A Friendly Hostility, 5ideways and naturally Ctrl+Alt+Del.
So that about me in a proverbial nut shell. I enjoy mild s**t-stirring and I’m partial to films- I admit I have a soft spot for the foreign stuff and yes… even the artwank.
Oh, and I like penguins too.
