Hey, I say u wondering on Muay Boran on a forum thread. Here's my answer. "Well, the main reason is the Muay Boran was meant to kill people. You see Thai fighters checking roundkicks? With MB, you check, and strike the throat. You'd often elbow the head, chest and neck in MB as well, with intent to disable or kill. Muay Thai is a sport fighting martial art, a boxing match between two Thai fighters who are like trees and can kill people but choose not to."
