I believe that teh sky is alaive and actually eats the air particles to survive. Its kinda like when the bigger fish eat teh littler fish.; The bigger air particles eat the smaller air particles. It also lets birds and bugs live on it...kinda like when fish can live in sea anemone...OH DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT! YOU'VE SEEN NEMO! DID THAT SEA ANEMONE EVEN LIFT A FINGER TO HURT NEMO?!
*ahem*

I also believe that the sky is a sick and twisted fiend. It uses the clouds to attract dipshit humans into following them. Then the clouds run across the sky so we run to keep up and end up running into traffic. Then the sky laughs, it's giant food hole spraying extra air paritcles on us as he wallow in our shame.
