"Emugav looked to the horizon, past his modest field. He saw movement just at the limits of his sight. Someone was approaching.Whoever it was, they came with no hurry. From where he was, Emugav could see some sort of motion akin to...flapping. Yet it was grounded. He set his shovel to lean on his home and waited for the stranger to come nearer.
With time, the mysterious guest did so. The flapping was that of a cloak, a cloak as black as night. In the stretching rays of the waning day, the figure seemed no more than an extension of the evening's shadows. The red rock of Mount Ordath seemed to darken to dull blood red where the stranger walked.
With every progressing step towards Emugav's home, the features of his face were at last distinguishable. Under the hood of the blackened cloak, Emugav could see disheveled auburn hair that once might have been delicately curled and arranged. Wild, humorous eyes flashed brightly like phantom stars in the depths of twilight. A wide, jovial grin was spread over the stranger's face.
"Hullo, Temnoc," Emugav greeted him, his expression unwavering. Temnoc Azom was not fooled.
"H'lo Emi. Have time f'r an ol'friend tonight?" Temnoc replied as he came face to face with Emugav. He pulled his hood away from his face and extended a hand to shake."
I love music. Dream Theater is my favorite band, then Porcupine Tree and OSI. Kevin Moore's keyboard skillz deeply inspire me and my current style of poetry is based on his lyrical style.
I like videogames too; my favorite has been Half-Life 2 for a couple years, but that might change once Mass Effect come out.
I love Star Wars. I know EVERYTHING about the Star Wars universe pre-Galactic Empire. Well, I used to; I forgot most of it. =P

Favorite Movies: The Matrix (original only), Serenity, Star Wars I-VI, Star Trek II and III, Office Space, Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Wayne's World 1 and 2, V for Vendetta, Rock Star, Serenity, Accepted, Superbad, Pirates of the Caribbean 1 and 3...there are probably some I'm forgetting.
Favorite Anime: Saiyuki, Yuu Yuu Hakusho, Dragonall, Dragonball Z, Tenchi Muyo, Hamtaro, Animatrix, Spirited Away (okay, it probably belongs under movies, but it's an anime flick), Shaman King, and again there are likely a lot that I'm forgetting.
Favorite TV Shows: South Park, Mind of Mencia, Robot Chicken, Family Guy, Digging for the Truth.
Favorite Books/Comics/Mangas: The Foundation and Robot series, the Ender and Bean series, Pendragon series, Harry Potter series, among others. I never read a lot of comics, but there were a few Star Wars comics that I loved reading about this Jedi named Quinlan Vos. He was a baller.
Favorite Bands: Dream Theater (mi favorito), Porcupine Tree, OSI, Lostprophets, Linkin Park, Glass Hammer, Symphony X, A Triggering Myth, Liquid Tension Experiment, Nirvana, Dark New Day, Evanescence, Circus Maximus, Puddle of Mudd, Genesis, AFI, The Beatles, Rush, Alice in Chains, Jethro Tull, Hoobastank, Dark New Day, Fates Warning, Ayreon, etc.
Hobbies/Interests: Writing, reading, hanging out with friends, playing drums, singing.
