How is everyone these days? Still brutally murdering, raping and stealing from each other? Oh good, it's nice to know that some things never change.
I suppose you have to live with the hope that there are more people out there like your friends, the cool ones who give a s**t about the world... I know I do. I mean - people are great, but people are just plain old stupid.
But thats enough about me, lets talk about me.
My name is Matthew Rainford, known as Bobbu on this magical piece of crappy technology that we call the internet (if people would just stop trying to advance techology and sort out the problems with the stuff we already have then the world would be a better place). If you're feeling really cynical, sarcastic or ironic, you can call me The Almighty Bobbu. But no-one calls me that. No-one calls me Bobbu either, but so what?
I am the owner of a website called A Place In Between. This website is all about the world and living in it. It is about actually using your brain; thinking for youself; considering the things that are truly important to you. It is about expressing yourself and your thoughts by whatever creative medium you may wish to do so - even if it's just through the art of conversation. It is about you, for you, and concerning you - because as a human being there is nothing in the world that you can justifiably claim is not your business. I advise you to join the forum attached, to talk about all sorts of things: from philosophy to music, ethics to lemons. Oh, and if you want you can talk about the website too. Or even my DeviantArt account.
I'm a philosopher, artist, writer, poet, lunatic, vegan, cosmologist, theologian and general anthropologist. For the un-initiated into the art of reeling off utterly irrelevant and meaningless jargon, that means I'm a thinker with an adoration for the world and the human race; who then expresses what he thinks about it all in words or images.
I am completely and utterly in love with my perfect fiance, Helen. I thank her a million times for not only putting up with my insanity, but actually encouraging it!
