Red focused on the flashback. When it ended, he responded to Mew. "... I'm fine." That was all he said. Red never was much of a talker.

Red smiled at the creature's happiness. In truth, Red had come to the forest to seclude himself from being found, as he was discovered by Gold at the peak of Mt. Silver. The forest was one of the last places he could hide in solitude. Red stopped stroking Mew and went into a flashback of the climactic battle between himself and the trainer from Johto.

Red slowly stood up and gently picked Mew into his arms, then to his lap. Petting its delicate frame as he would with Sol, Red again smiled. He said something, but no words came out. His decision to keep silent sometimes slips from his mind and he mouths things without anything actually being said.

[It does produce some fun though.]

Pika's ears perked up at Mew's delighted yelp, as did Luna and Sol's. The Umbreon and Espeon quickly did more circles around Mew, sniffing it. When they were done, Harpuia, Fefnir, and Leviathan did the same to make themselves familiar with Mew's scent. Luna jumped onto Mew and nuzzled its head against the small pink creature.

Being mute, Red took his hat and tilted the brim forward to obscure the glow of his eyes. Taking some berries, he let out his current Party which consisted of Eeveelutions. His regular team was in the care of Blue's sister. His only constant partner was his Pikachu, Pika. Handing out berries to his partners, Red smiled somewhat innocently and watched them eat.
